Course Description
Pattern Making is the art of creating templates used to cut and sew fabric into garments. This program teaches students how to draft, modify, and grade patterns based on design concepts and body measurements. Key skills include understanding garment construction, fabric behavior, and how to achieve proper fit and style.
Students learn to create patterns for various types of clothing, from basic to complex designs. The course covers both manual and computer-aided pattern-making techniques. Graduates can work in fashion design, tailoring, or the garment manufacturing industry.
